How to Speed up windows 10

There are lot of ways to speed up your windows with out using any software, some of them are here.

Power option

For power option go to start menu and search for power option (type power option in search box).

Then change your power option to high performance.

Disable unwanted Startup programs

Open Task manager. The simple way to open the task manager is by right clicking the any blank space of task bar and select the task manager option. Or, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

Go to Startup option and disable those unwanted startup programs. When there are large number of start up programs. Your computer performance will be slow, so its better to disable. You can manually open those program if required.

Delete unnecessary temporary files

Type prefetch in the run (Window+R) and a window will open . Then delete all those files. Do the same after typing %temp% and temp in that run box.

Defragment and optimization Drives

Go to start menu and search Defragment ,and click to open the optimize drives window .

Then select your system drive( usually c drive) and click on the optimize. once the optimization process is finished, u can close the window.

Clean up Memory

Go to your file explorer( click on This PC or window+E).

Then right click on your system drive( usually C drives) and click on properties. A box will open and there you will see the Disk Cleanup option.

Click on that Disk Cleanup option and your system will start calculating clean up.

Again you will see and box will option Cleanup System Files, click there also. Again scanning will be done and then give permission to cleanup your system.

Reduce Run time Services

Open run box (Window+R) and type msconfig there and click on ok.

Then you will see the System configuration box. Go to Services option.

Firstly, check on hide all Microsoft services so that no accident happen by stopping any Microsoft's services.

Now, stop all unwanted services that are running on the background.

Visual Effects

This process will reduce the visual effect of your window not your program graphic or gamming graphic. After doing this, you will feel low on the visual effect of computer, but Trust me .. it will increase the speed of your computer. Anyway, if you don't like this step you can go back to normal whenever you want .

Move to start menu and search for System ,a window will open and go to advance system settings on the left and click on it. OR, directly you can go to System setting by typing sysdm.cpl in the run and clicking ok. Go to advanced option.

Click on the Settings in the Performance box. Then click on Adjust for best performance. You can also tick on some option to make ur window looks beautiful. Now you can click on ok.
